Privacy Policy & Cookie Use Charter

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as ” the  Policy “)  Aims to set out to you the rules concerning the different processing of personal data that can be implemented when you use our website accessible from the URL: www.orsay-hotel.com (hereinafter the ”  Site “)

The processing of personal data implemented from the Site is the responsibility of two co-workers.

Those responsible for processing your personal data are:

  • La société Reservit (hereinafter “Reservit”)  Which manages the website of SASU HOTEL D’ORSAY

Reservit is registered under the number R. C. S Marseille 415 310 655 in Marseille.  Its head office is located at Actiparc 1, Building 5-9001 Boulevard Claude Antonetti-13821 La Penne sur Huveaune.

Reservit accompanies the professionals of the accommodation by offering them a digital platform hosted in Saas mode allowing them to create an Internet site for their hosting activity.

Reservit and the establishment are hereinafter referred to as the ”  Processing Manager “.  The terms ”  “Us,”  Our ”  And ”  Our ”  In this Privacy Policy refer to the Processing Manager.

As the controller of your Personal Data we make every effort to protect your privacy during your visits to the Site.

This policy allows you to know more about the origin and use of your Personal Data as well as your navigation information processed during the consultation of our Site.

Within the framework of this Policy, the expression ”  Personal Data ”  Means any data that relates to you alone and allows you to identify directly or indirectly, independently of the terminal you are using.

In this respect, it is stated that our Site is not intended for children and therefore we do not process any data relating to children.

We undertake not to transfer your personal data to third parties with the exceptions listed below in Article 1.3.

1.2. For what purposes are your Personal Data collected and processed?

The Personal Data listed above is likely to be collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • Managing a reservation.

    The processing of your data is necessary to keep you informed of the status of your reservation, the summary of your reservation, accept your payment, etc.

  • Customer Service Access.

    We process your Personal Data in the framework of our customer service in order to respond to your requests in particular through the contact form.

  • Improving our services. We process your navigation and reservation data for analysis and statistics.  Indeed, these data allow us to analyze how you use our Site and to improve its ergonomics and quality.

1.3. Who are the recipients of your Personal Data?

As part of the use of our Site, you may be prompted to receive information from third parties with whom we work in order to offer you certain services.  It can be:

  • Financial institutions and accredited storage centres;

Your login and navigation data can also be transferred to Google Analytics.

We will also be able to communicate your Personal Data in order to respond to an injunction from the legal authorities.

1.4. How long are your Personal Data stored?

We will keep your data for a period of ten (10) years following your last reservation, in order to answer any questions, complaints or to maintain all the data necessary to meet legal requirements,  Accounting or analysis (Article L. 123-22 of the Commercial Code).

We can also keep your data for statistical research or analysis;  These will be anonymized.

As part of a subscription to our newsletter, we will not contact you again if you have not opened our newsletters for more than twelve (12) months.

Any changes to this Policy will be made on this page and, in the event of a substantial change, will be notified by e-mail.

The Processing Manager can also keep your data for statistical research or analysis.  Since these are anonymized, no retention period is imposed by the Regulations as long as it is no longer possible for you ”  Re-identify ”  Later.

-Right to limitation of the processing of your Personal Data;  This limitation of treatment can be achieved when:

  • Challenge the accuracy of your Personal Data;
  • You do not oppose the erasing of your Personal Data in the course of unlawful processing, but require it to be limited;
  • Your Personal Data are no longer used by our services, but their preservation is only necessary for the recognition, exercise or defence of a right to justice; Or
  • You object to us using your Personal Data through your right of opposition.

-Right to portability of your Personal Data: you can contact us so that we provide you or directly to another controller, your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and readable format  By machine;

-Right of opposition: you can contact us when 

  • The Treatment is performed in response to a public interest mission or for the purposes of our legitimate interests;  You can object only for reasons relating to your situation;  Or
  • The processing is carried out for the purpose of commercial prospecting; You can oppose it at any time and without any explanation.

In any event, we remind you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent administrative authority.

1.7. WHAT ARE THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING?

For the processing of your data, we rely on legal bases that depend on how you interact with our Site.

When you purchase products from our Site, we collect and process your personal data to perform the contract between us. For example, we need your postal address to deliver your order or your banking details to process payment.

We also rely on other legal bases such as our legitimate interests. Regardless of the Data Controller to whom you voluntarily provided your Personal Data and considering the nature of the Internet, other operators, unrelated to the Data Controller, may intercept them without your consent, especially when browsing the Internet. Therefore, we recommend that you install antivirus and anti-spyware software on your computer and regularly update them.

2.3. IMPERSONATION / PHISHING

The Data Controller will never solicit you by email for personal information.

If you receive an email on behalf of the Data Controller asking for sensitive personal information (banking data, privacy-related data, etc.), please do not respond and forward us the email so that we can take necessary actions.

You should only provide information related to your account after logging in to the Site directly through your browser.

3.2.5. PRIVATE BROWSING

The “Private Browsing” mode, now offered by all browsers, mainly allows you to browse the Internet without retaining a history of visited pages or downloads. Therefore, it is not a solution to refuse cookies; however, their lifespan is limited to the duration of your browsing.
